The Ecology of Work, focuses on creating a comfortable and productive co-working space. The design leans heavily toward adaptability — reshaping the existing structure to foster an environment where everyone can feel at ease while working efficietly.

Nature meets work. Designed to adapt.

A key theme of the project is sustainability, both in philosophy and in practice. I made deliberate material and colour choices to reflect a connection to nature, using natural tones and eco-conscious resources. This project also gave me the opportunity to place a strong emphasis on biophilic design — especially in the garden layout, which encouraged me to explore how to bring the essence of the outdoors inside.

My Process - Space planing

No items found.

I begin with site mapping to become familiar with the area, working at different scales—one covering the entire town and another focusing on the site and its neighboring houses. Next, I analyze the client to understand their needs and how best to integrate them into the site. I then document the existing structures before developing initial concepts, which I visualize through collages.

My Process - Modeling

No items found.

Using 2D/3D visualization tools, I explore proportions, circulation, and spatial relationships, adjusting until the flow feels intuitive and balanced. In parallel, I create physical models, which allow me to experience the design on a tactile level and quickly test variations in form and scale. By combining digital and physical methods, I gain a deeper understanding of how the space will be perceived, ensuring the final plan is both functional and experiential.

Ultimately, this project allowed me to reflect deeply on how space, nature, and wellbeing are interconnected — and how design can bridge those elements meaningfully.Ultimately, this project allowed me to reflect deeply on how space, nature, and wellbeing are interconnected — and how design can bridge those elements meaningfully.
